Edward Weston, one of the founders of modern photography and sometimes referred to as a surrealist, had a unique eye for the graphic qualities of sceneries, objects and bodies and his images seem to me to elevate the subjects to an iconic dimension, often charged with a striking sensuality. I’m only so envious of his way of seeing!
